“Quality means, doing it right when no one is looking” Henry Ford
Ford designed and launched three cars between 1932 and 1934, this was one of them.
All 1932 Ford models came with wire wheels, black fenders and a rear mounted spare wheel. It also offered options such as a luggage rack, a clock, twin sidemounts, mirrors and leather interior when a convertible version. Today’s ’32 Ford is a highly collectable car, such as the Hot Wheels version. People are literally paying thousands of dollars to bring the cars back to their original looks. This is quite odd as years back this car was cheap and not fancy or special at all. In actual fact, some were used to take apart the pieces and use these to create and fix other cars. Again, a reason why it is so extremely difficult to find ’32 Fords in its original state.
This Hot Wheels version is based on the real ’32 Ford, but Mattel has designed it to be a Delivery car called “The Good the Bad and the Speedy”. It is a glossy black with brown and red details. It also has an amazing paintwork design on the roof of the car, its a graphic of a man and a poker card.
