2016, Hot Wheels discontintued the Heat Fleet Series, releasing cars with flames under the Category:HW Flames Series name.

The Heat Fleet Series were segments of the mainline in 1997, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

5-Packs were released called Heat Fleat in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2012.

    Not all cars released with flame deco have been included in the Heat Fleet series or HW Flames Series
    In 2016, Hot Wheels began releasing flamed cars under the series name HW Flames.

    Also included in the mainline are 2 Target-exclusive Snowflake Editions, 2 Target-exclusive Spring Editions, and 4 Kroger Special Editions.
    The HW Flames 5-Pack (FKT64) was released in 2018. The HW Flames 5-Pack includes cars that were voted-for online, all featuring cool flame details!
