Feel the speed in your veins! With the Speed Graphics collection you will feel all the acceleration that a Hot Wheels can give you. This recent collection opened in 2016, with some rather curious models such as one of that year’s Super Treasure Hunt, the ’14 Corvette Stingray.

    In 2017…

In 2017 the production of this collection continued with a model as significant as the Volkswagen Käfer Racer (with “Käfer” pronounced as “KaeFer”, which means “beetle” in German) is an original model of Hot Wheels based on a Volkswagen Beetle, and was designed by Mark Jones. The goal of this creation was to “find the latest and craziest VW racing”, but one that Volkswagen would accept because of its license. Jones took a Custom Beetle and added some parts on the bottom and back. The Käfer Racer seems to have been inspired by a VW Beetle Super Saloon and the VWs competing in the Fun Cup. The first version was inspired by the Porsche 935/78-81 sponsored by Momo `Moby Dick’, piloted by Gianpiero Moretti in the IMSA GT series in the early 1980s.

In 2018, apart from the Super Treasure Hunt “’15 Ford Mustang GT” the ’85 Honda City Turbo was casted, a model that was a real sensation when it reached the market in the 80’s, the Honda City Turbo went against the tide, slowing down the low and elegant design trends of the time and remaining strong as a robust bulldog.
