The Diecast Custom Competition celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation in custom diecast vehicles. Entrants are invited to submit their best custom builds to be judged by a panel of experts and voted on by attendees.

• Open to all entrants worldwide (unless otherwise stated)
• Entrants must be 16+ (or have parental permission)
• Each entrant may submit up to 2 Entries

• All entries must be customised diecast vehicles
• Scale must be 1:64
• Vehicles must be original work by the entrant
• Entries must be safe to handle and suitable for public display
• Entries must be physically present at ICONS
• Entrants must provide all required information

Entries may be submitted into the following categories:

• Mild - customs with new paint and wheel swaps only. No body modifications allowed
• Medium - customs which include small physical alterations; stance alterations, lowering/raising suspension, spoilers, engine swaps and hood scoops
• Hot (Spicy) - customs which include cutting, body modifications including stretching or reshaping, custom fabrication & similar

Entries must be submitted by 23.59pm on July 17th 2026

Submission method:

• All required details sent electronically
• Physical models delivered in person at the event (or sent by mail at organisers' discretion and owner's risk)

Each entry must include:

• Entrant name (or alias)
• Entry title
• Brief description
• Entrant's contact information; email & phone number
• Details of the category in which the entry is being submitted
• The following digital photographs of the entry, taken against a neutral backdrop;
  • Front right three quarter shot
  • Front left three quarter shot
  • Rear right three quarter shot
  • Rear left three quarter shot
  • Right side profile shot
  • Left side profile shot
  • Front head-on shot
  • Rear head-on shot
  • Direct Overhead view shot

Entries must be collected by their on the last day of the event. Entries submitted by mail by prior agreement with the organisers can be returned by mail, again at the organisers' discretion and by prior arrangement only.

Models which are not collected by the end of the event, or for which official arrangements are not made with the organisers for return via mail will be donated to charity.

Entries will be judged by a panel based on the following criteria. Each custom will be scored out of 10 on each criteria and the overall score calculated on the following weighting;

• Craftsmanship & Finish - 40%
• Creativity & Originality - 25%
• Difficulty / Modification Level - 20%
• Overall Impact - 15%

Judges' decisions are final.

There will be one winner and two runners-up per category

• Voting method: via digital form on the ICONS website or via QR code / ballot during the ICONS event
• One vote per voter
• Voting closes at 23.59pm on August 14th 2026
• The entry with the most votes wins the People's Choice Award for its category
• There will be three People's Choice award winners, one for each category

• Entries must be displayed loose (not in packaging) unless otherwise specified
• Organisers will take reasonable care, but are not responsible for loss or damage
• Only judges and organisers and the entrant's owner can touch entries. It is forbidden for anyone else to handle them. Attempting to handle another entrant's custom may be grounds for disqualification

• Entries must be the original work of the entrant
• No plagiarised builds
• Any attempt to manipulate voting may result in disqualification

• By entering, you grant permission for your work to be photographed and used for promotional purposes (social media, website, etc.)
• Credit will be given where possible

Winners will be announced at the ICONS event on August 15th 2026

Four prizes will be awarded for each category (Mild, Medium, Spicy); Winner, 2nd Place, 3rd Place and People's Choice Winner. Prizes are as follows;

• Winners will each receive 230 Euros worth of Diecast and Pack Protectors
• 2nd Placers will each receive 180 Euros worth of Diecast and Pack Protectors
• 3rd Placers will each receive 130 Euros worth of Diecast and Pack Protectors
• People's Choice Winners will each receive 125 Euros worth of Diecast and Pack Protectors

The organisers reserve the right to:

• Modify categories if necessary
• Refuse entries that do not meet the guidelines
• Disqualify entries that violate the rules
