A Spider-Man themed Hot Wheels Combat Medic: resin BBS wheels, 3D-printed crates and hand-painted rust and graffiti, finished in matte lacquer.
The judges have spoken. These are the nine winning customs across the three official categories, announced on August 15th and 16th at the ICONS event in Alicante.
A Spider-Man themed Hot Wheels Combat Medic: resin BBS wheels, 3D-printed crates and hand-painted rust and graffiti, finished in matte lacquer.
Weathered NASCAR style: blue aged with watercolour and rust, decals nodding to Richard Petty's legendary car, rubber tyres and hand-made exhausts.
Built on a Mini GT × Kaido House: metallic graphite with gloss black flanks and truck-style wheels for an American pickup with hot rod attitude.
Body polished to a mirror for a spectraflame effect and sprayed in home-made Candy paints: pink-to-purple and blue fades, hood masked back to bare metal. Styrene cage and 3D wheels with real aluminium lips.
An M2 Machines Chevrolet Super 30 resprayed in candy apple red over a coarse metallic base, pearl white and a candy mayan gold stripe. Sunroof opened, interior painted and 2K clear coat.
A Hot Wheels base with custom axles and wheels tapped and screwed, a "sketchy" livery in waterslides and 2K clear. Metal tow hook, caps and hood pins, 3D steering wheel and cooling, custom exhaust.
A classic GT40 with the body completely cut apart. Only the engine block and wheels are 3D-printed; everything else is hand-built from styrene and wire. Over half a year of work.
Full paint strip and reworked bodywork, complete glazing, a stainless steel structure, 3D-printed engine work, custom wiring harnesses and hand-crafted stainless interior parts.
The original casting split into three parts, headlights rebuilt in styrene and every vent opened up. Radiators, suspension, engine and tanks built from wire and styrene; fluorescent paint that glows under blue light.

THE JUDGES SCORE YOUR PHOTOS
The jury evaluates every entry from the 9 photos submitted at registration. You don't need to attend the event to compete. The judges' decision is final.
Strictly 1:64 scale (approx. 3 inches). Must be entirely modified by you. Zero tolerance for plagiarism or presenting bought customs.
The competition runs online and the judges score your entry from your photos. If you attend ICONS in Alicante (August 15-16), you can display your custom in person during the event.
All entrants had to supply 9 images of their car against a solid neutral backdrop. The judges score each custom from those images.
The competition was open worldwide to entrants aged 16+, with a maximum of 2 entries per person. Registration closed on August 9th at 23:59 and no new entries are being accepted.
Displaying your custom at the event is optional. If you choose to display, you must deliver and collect your piece in person during the event. Uncollected models at the end of the event will be donated to charity.
Entries displayed in person will be shown 'loose' (unboxed). Organisers will take reasonable care but are not responsible for loss or damage. Only judges, staff, and the owner can touch entries. Handling another entrant's custom is grounds for immediate disqualification.
All builds must be original work by the entrant. No plagiarised pieces allowed. Any attempt to manipulate the judging will result in immediate disqualification.
The organisation reserves the right to modify categories if necessary and refuse entries that do not meet guidelines. For logistical questions, contact: customs@iconscollectibles.com.
